The Supreme Court granted him interim bail on Thursday, but refused to stay the investigation.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at multiple premises in Delhi-NCR on Thursday as part of its money laundering investigation against coaching institute FIITJEE, which recently shut down its centers abruptly, leaving about 12,000 students in the lurch. The incident occurred on February 22 when the accused intercepted a truck transporting cattle from Rajasthan to Lucknow on suspicion of cow smuggling. The truck driver and his helper were beaten up and thrown into a canal. While the driver survived, the helper's body was found in the canal on Sunday.
